Professionalism

We strive for higher professional ideals here at the Gamma Chi chapter of AKPsi, and here are just a few of the ways we create this atmosphere.

Career Fair Event:

We host an annual career fair networking event that gives our members an opportunity to network professionally and discuss potential career opportunities with recruiters.

In-Chapter Speakers:

We host several in-chapters speakers each semester for various discussions about current topics in business, advice for personal financial planning or interviewing, and specific information related to their company or industry. (List of Recent Speakers)

Unwrapping Success Dinner:

We have hosted several professional dinners with professors from the Farmer School of Business.  These dinners offer an opportunity for our members to network with business professors in a professional setting outside of the classroom.

Principled Business Leadership Institute (PBLI): 

Each year, we attend an Alpha Kappa Psi convention in Chicago with other chapters from around the Midwest.  The PBLI allows our members to meet their brothers from other chapters, attend helpful lectures, meet the national leadership team, and show our chapter pride.
